Major Food Group is hiring Food Runners to join our team at Dirty French !
Located in the Ludlow Hotel on Manhattan’s storied Lower East Side, Dirty French is an energetic bistro created by the acclaimed hospitality brand Major Food Group and its co-founders Jeff Zalaznick, Mario Carbone, and Rich Torrisi. The restaurant takes its culinary cues from the timeless dishes of the classic French tradition and enlivens them by utilizing modern techniques and bold, thrilling flavors. Among many accolades, Dirty French holds a glowing two stars from the New York Times.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Delivering food orders from the kitchen to guests
- Ensuring food orders are correct before serving it to the guest
- Acting as the point of contact between Front of the House and Back of the House staff
- Timing to optimize our guests dining experience
- Focusing on presentation of the plates
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- Displays enthusiasm and knowledge about the restaurant's menu and products.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Professional, articulate, friendly, and punctual.
- Possesses and exhibits the drive to provide exceptional service.
- Full time flexible hours are required (able to work days, nights, weekends, holidays).
- Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours; bend, push, pull; lift 30 lbs.
- Team-orientated and positive attitude
- Proficient in computer skills including POS systems, Word and Excel.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in high volume and fine dining restaurants preferred but not required

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($16.00) plus tips
