6 is a small neighborhood restaurant where we offer an a la carte menu and a regularly changing prix fixe menu.
The menu is food we like eating, simple, approachable with a strong influence from Dutch cuisine. We are looking for passionate and motivated Line Cooks to join our kitchen team.
Position overview
As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to order. You will work in a small kitchen team where we value individuals who have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a genuine interest in cooking.
- Prepare and cook dishes according to the menu, recipes, and specifications.
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet restaurant standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
- Monitor inventory and report any shortages to the Kitchen Manager.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years as a Line Cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Must have a passion for food and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
