Line Cook

At Lucky’s Last Chance we take great pride in our award-winning burgers, hot dogs, mak & cheese, tots, and fries. We offer unique seasonal options on our brunch menu as well. Line cooks perform necessary duties which are essential to our success. We do our best to create a fun and safe work environment, and our staff is inviting, friendly, and charismatic.  We take great pride in the culture we have created over the last ten years. We started out as a local dive bar, and now have established ourselves as a popular destination for local families and residents, in addition to the large majority of our fellow industry workers in the area. We compete in Philly Burger Brawl every year, and our PB & Bacon Burger is a three- time champion! We do what we can to contribute to the community as well. We have annual charity events in which we work diligently to raise as much money as possible for those in need. Come be a part of our growing team!

 

Our line cook responsibilities include; setting up and stocking stations, preparing food for service, cooking with a deep fryer & flat top grill, following all direction from Kitchen Manager & Leads, stocking and rotating inventory appropriately, ensuring that food comes out simultaneously, at the highest quality and in a timely manner, and complying with all DOH safety and sanitary regulations.

-Willingness to clean with downtime

-evening and weekend availability

-dependable transportation (shifts can run longer than buses & trains)
