Compensation Details

Compensation: Salary ($90,000.00 - $120,000.00)

Cal-India Collective is home to Chef Srijith Gopinathan and Founder Ayesha Thapar's highly regarded restaurants; Ettan, Copra and Eylan.

Ettan est. 2020 was the birthplace of Chef Sri's Cal-Indian genre where he and Thapar redefined how people experience Indian cuisine; creating a unique confluence of the Indian palette with California fresh ingredients.

Copra est 2023 pays homage to the coastal cuisines of India's southern states, using heirloom and seasonal ingredients from Northern California. Our menu is inspired by Kerala where Gopinathan was born, Tamil Nadu where he grew up, and Sri Lanka, a short distance from his hometown of Kanyakumari, India's southernmost city.

Eylan est 2025 offers seasonally-driven Cal-Indian cuisine centered around a wood-fired grill, with thoughtfully sourced produce and a variety of proteins cooked over the embers and served alongside clever riffs on traditional breads from different regions of India.

Wine and spirits play an important part across the group with Star Wine List and Wine Spectator awards of excellence and the honor of Michelin Best Cocktails California 2025 for Eylan in Menlo Park.
