The restaurant is led by a chef with years of Michelin-star experience, bringing refined technique and a distinct voice to the NYC steakhouse scene. Its bar program, anchored in timeless classics, is curated by beverage director with over two decades in hospitality. Together, they’re crafting a warm, high-impact dining experience rooted in excellence and expertise.
The Opportunity: General Manager
We’re seeking an experienced, hospitality-driven General Manager to lead our opening team and bring Booth’s to life. This role requires a blend of high-touch service, operational savvy, and a love for creating memorable guest experiences. You’ll work closely with ownership and the chef team to shape a culture that’s professional, passionate, and full of good energy.
What You’ll Do
Leadership & Culture
- Lead and develop all FOH operations, setting a tone of professionalism, warmth, and accountability
- Hire, train, and mentor a dynamic opening team with a focus on hospitality and efficiency
- Build a culture of mutual respect, high standards, and constant improvement
- Collaborate closely with the kitchen and corporate to align on service, flow, and guest experience
Guest Experience & Service
- Serve as the face of the restaurant — present, proactive, and hands-on in every shift
- Create a welcoming, buzz-worthy atmosphere that reflects the neighborhood and the concept
- Own the guest journey from start to finish, especially for VIPs and regulars
- Handle service issues with grace and professionalism, reinforcing long-term loyalty
Operations & Financial Management
- Oversee day-to-day operations including scheduling, inventory, payroll, and systems
- Manage labor, food, and beverage costs with an eye on profitability
- Ensure all safety, sanitation, and compliance protocols are upheld
- Partner with corporate on forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning
Events & Marketing Alignment
- Support private events, promotions, and local partnerships in collaboration with marketing
- Represent Booth’s in the community as a hospitality leader and brand ambassador
Who You Are
- 3–5+ years in a GM or AGM role at a high-volume, full-service restaurant
- Deep understanding of classic service, modern hospitality, and team development
- Cool under pressure, quick on your feet, and committed to delivering excellence
- Systems-oriented, financially literate, and comfortable with tools like Toast and Resy
- A people person who thrives on making others feel taken care of
- Knowledge and experience with wines a plus
