Job Details
The Executive Dining Room at a prestigious New York City financial institution seeks a skilled cook for immediate hire. Candidates must possess a positive attitude, immaculate work habits and 3 years' experience in a restaurant or hotel fine dining setting.
The Executive Dining room serves a weekly changing a la carte menu. High standards for quality and consistency, attention to detail and ability to multitask a must. This is the perfect job for an experienced cook looking for a better work/life balance or a younger cook eager to learn and grow in the field of high-end hospitality.
Mondy to Friday AM schedule with holidays off. Some evening events.
Responsibilities Include:
-executing preparation for daily menus and special events in a fine dining setting
-maintain a clean and hygienic workstation and professional appearance
-ensure food taste and presentation maintain the highest possible standards
The Ideal Candidate Should Have:
-3 Years of Restaurant or Hotel experience, ideally in a NYC fine dining or upscale setting.
-A Culinary School Degree or Comparable Trade School Certification
-A positive, can do attitude
-clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
-The ability to multi-task and work quickly to achieve daily production goals.
-A passion for food and cooking above all else.

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($28.00)
