General Manager

Seiren Conservas Bar | New York City

Seiren is a Mediterranean conservas bar focused on exceptional hospitality, thoughtful food & beverage programming, and a refined yet approachable guest experience. We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead day-to-day operations, build and mentor a strong team, and uphold the standards of a hospitality-driven, quality-focused concept.

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all front- and back-of-house operations, driving financial performance, and cultivating a culture of excellence, accountability, and warmth.

• Lead and manage daily restaurant operations with a hands-on, service-first approach

• Recruit, train, schedule, and mentor FOH and BOH leadership and staff

• Maintain high standards of hospitality, service execution, and guest satisfaction

• Oversee budgeting, labor management, cost controls, and P&L performance

• Manage inventory, ordering, vendor relationships, and invoicing

• Collaborate on menu execution, beverage programs, and seasonal initiatives

• Ensure compliance with NYC health, safety, and labor regulations

• Oversee private events, buyouts, and special programming

• Foster a positive, professional, and inclusive team culture

• 3–5+ years of General Manager experience in a high-volume or quality-driven restaurant or bar

• Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to build and retain teams

• Solid financial acumen (labor, COGS, budgeting, reporting)

• Deep understanding of food, wine, and beverage service (Mediterranean experience a plus)

• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

• Calm, confident presence on the floor during service
