About the Role
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with food, being part of a team, and creating great guest experiences.
As a Catering Attendant, you’ll be part of a team of 4–6 attendants responsible for setting up, servicing, and breaking down buffet-style breakfast and lunch in office cafeterias across NYC. You’ll work alongside awesome coworkers in a supportive, hospitality-driven culture where reliability and growth are truly valued.
This is a hands-on role with steady income, consistent hours, and a real next step for your career.
What You’ll Be Doing Food Service & Guest Experience

Plate food, replenish buffet lines, and stock pantries.

Greet and assist guests to create a welcoming environment.

Learn menus and offer suggestions or alternatives for guests with dietary restrictions.

Maintain a friendly, professional hospitality presence.
Food Preparation

Perform basic prep including washing, peeling, and cutting fruits and vegetables.

Season and slice meats; prepare sauces and salads.

Prepare simple recipes such as waffles, pancakes, omelets, and oatmeal.

Follow food safety standards and recipes.
Setup, Breakdown & Cleaning

Set up and break down dining rooms and buffet stations as directed by the Enterprise Dining Lead.

Clean and sanitize chafing dishes, tableware, and service equipment.

Wash dishes and properly store clean equipment and supplies.

Maintain clean, organized FOH and BOH spaces.
Safety & Logistics

Maintain a food-safe and sanitary environment at all times.

Assist with loading and unloading food, tableware, and catering supplies.

Provide coverage across multiple Manhattan sites and events when needed.
