We are seeking a professional Host / Hostess to act as the concierge and maître d’ for a refined Japanese restaurant offering both an intimate omakase experience and an à la carte dining room. This role is guest-facing, detail-driven, and centered on building genuine connections with our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Confirming reservations and communicating with guests prior to service
• Contacting waitlist guests to secure bookings for the same day or future dates
• Greeting guests warmly, managing coat check, and overseeing arrivals and wait times
• Creating a personalized experience by remembering guest names and preferences
• Supporting guest departures and farewells
• Assisting with daily menus (editing, printing, and in-house preparation)
• Supporting smooth front-of-house operations throughout service

• Experience in high-end dining, omakase, or hospitality-focused environments is a plus
