pasjoli is a neighborhood bistro by James Beard award-winning Chef Dave Beran located on Main Street in Santa Monica. We are serving an elevated French menu rooted in classic French cuisine inspired by both the Parisian markets and local southern California produce.
We are currently looking to hire a full-time Junior Sous to join our team.
Candidates should have at least one year of similar prior experience. We are looking for candidates with attention to detail, ability to work with a team, a sense of urgency and follow through, and most importantly, a positive attitude. A Junior Sous must become proficient on all stations and prep tasks. They should also be familiar with standard kitchen operations including cleaning schedule and organization methods.
Candidates will be assisting the sous chefs and chef de cuisine in:

Ensuring that all prep is completed on all stations prior to service, occasionally coming in early if needed.
- Inventory and ordering

Quality checking teammates throughout prep and service.

Floating on the line during busy services.

Mentoring line cooks.

End of night counts and organization of prep lists.
