Albert’s Bar is seeking a strong and talented Chef de Cuisine to lead our kitchen team!

THE ROLE

The Chef de Cuisine (CDC) will oversee all daily culinary operations at Albert’s Bar, leading a high-performing kitchen team while maintaining the highest standards of quality, consistency, and efficiency. This role works closely with the Executive Chef and on-site management to oversee day-to-day kitchen operations and maintain high operational standards. The position is primarily Monday–Friday, with flexibility required to support scheduled events on weekends.

WHO YOU ARE

  • 5+ years of experience in a high-volume, professional kitchen
  • Calm, efficient, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • A hands-on, approachable leader who motivates, manages, and develops diverse teams
  • Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
  • A proactive self-starter with a sharp eye for detail and a big-picture mindset
  • Experienced in hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
  • Highly organized with exceptional time-management and prioritization skills
  • Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) is a plus

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Lead all day-to-day kitchen operations, including staff supervision, quality assurance, and cost control
  • Foster a positive kitchen culture that prioritizes teamwork, accountability, and high morale
  • Execute onsite event and private dining menus with precision, timeliness, and consistency alongside regular service
  • Maintain consistent execution of recipes, portion control, and plating standards
  • Conduct daily line checks and ensure kitchen readiness at all times
  • Manage ordering, receiving, and inventory with accuracy and efficiency
  • Create and manage staff schedules while monitoring labor costs to align with business needs
  • Maintain a clean, organized kitchen in full compliance with food safety standards and all DOH regulations
  • Deliver consistently high-quality food that reflects Albert’s Bar’s standards

Compensation Details

Compensation: Salary ($80,000.00 - $90,000.00)
