    Spring House is an elevated neighborhood restaurant and social club housed in Tenafly’s historic Demarest–Lyle House. The menu showcases refined yet comfort American cuisine with Italian influence, rooted in seasonality and locally sourced ingredients, featuring house made pastas, wood grilled meats, and thoughtfully crafted dishes. Warm, sophisticated, and ingredient driven, Spring House offers a dining experience that feels both timeless and distinctly modern. 

    Rosto Chicken is a modern, elevated take-out concept from effortless family dinners to post-workout refuels and crave-worthy meals on the go. We focus on doing one thing exceptionally well: Wood-Loved Chicken, thoughtfully prepared with quality ingredients and bold, honest flavor. Simple, nourishing, and deeply satisfying, Rosto delivers comfort you can feel good about serving every day.

  • Oversee all kitchen operations including preparation, production, presentation and consistency of dishes in alignment with the Spring House and Rosto culinary vision while adding in your own personalization to the menu
  • Menu development for Rosto Chicken concept
  • Lead the opening of Rosto Chicken from a culinary perspective, targeted for Q1 2026
  • Maintain high standards of food quality in both restaurants
  • Lead and develop the kitchen team (line cooks, sous chefs, prep staff, dishwashers).  Recruiting, training, scheduling, mentoring etc
  • Collaborate with the Restaurant General Manager and partners on menu evolution such as seasonal menus, specials etc.
  • Vendor sourcing and negotiation
  • Monitor kitchen performance KPI’s (food cost, inventory management, waste, yields), adjust processes to optimize efficiency 
  • Ensure consistency in plating, portioning, timing and service readiness to maintain guest experience standards
  • Participate in the overall restaurant operations when required (e.g., private events, off-site catering, special dinners)
  • Uphold a positive, collaborative kitchen culture that supports the restaurant’s brand and staff retention

Compensation Details

Compensation: Salary ($105,000.00 - $120,000.00)
