Job Details
We are looking for someone who can work both alone and with others. This position requires the physical ability to work throughout the shift and usually accomplish an entire shifts' work done alone, though this isn't true for weekends. The job breaks down to working on the line, predominantly preparing breakfast sandwiches, baking certain pastries and items for the display cases, and prepping all the food that go into the line and pastries. This means that you will not only be a line cook but also a baker, a prep cook, and a dishwasher all at once.
We are still a young business, but as a sister restaurant to Cafe Degas, the bar for excellence is high. The job is heavily reliant on multi-tasking and staying busy throughout the entire shift. Consistency and maintaining a professional and positive attitude are a must. Being able to communicate efffectively is quite important. Being able to browse inventory and prep already done is also quite important. Thus, having some culinary experience is greatly encouraged, and all culinary knowledge can be utilized in this position. 
Guarenteed part time work, however, schedules are mostly flexible. Tips are shared between personnel working the line and counter for that day. Coffee is free, and you are permitted a free sandwich/meal when working.
