A well-established, refined restaurant in the Hudson Valley is conducting a confidential search for an Executive Chef to lead and elevate its culinary program. This role is ideal for a chef who values discipline, consistency, and thoughtful execution within a professional kitchen culture.

The Opportunity

  • This chef will have a voice in shaping the culinary identity

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all kitchen operations with a focus on quality and consistency

  • Execute and refine a cohesive, elevated menu

  • Maintain disciplined food cost, inventory, and waste control

  • Train, mentor, and manage a professional BOH team

  • Uphold sanitation, organization, and operational excellence

  • Collaborate with ownership to drive continuous improvement

Ideal Candidate
  • Executive Chef or strong Head Chef experience in an upscale or fine-dining environment

  • Demonstrated ability to lead with standards, not ego

  • Strong grasp of classic technique with modern sensibility

  • Organized, disciplined, and detail-oriented

  • Calm, consistent leadership style
