ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER – FULL TIME

Saverne is a wood-fired modern brasserie from Gabriel Kreuther, the celebrated chef of his two-Michelin-starred restaurant in Bryant Park. Opening this winter at The Spiral in Hudson Yards, Saverne brings refined Alsatian-inspired cuisine, live-fire cooking, and genuine hospitality to a modern, approachable dining room.
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on AGM to join our opening leadership team. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who leads from the floor, maintains a strong presence during service, and balances exceptional guest experience with sound administrative execution.
What We’re Looking For

Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or FOH Manager in fine dining or high-end hospitality

Strong, visible leadership presence on the floor during service

Deep understanding of service standards, guest relations, and dining room flow

Solid administrative skills including scheduling, payroll, reporting, and team communication

Ability to coach, motivate, and hold teams to high standards

Michelin-starred or fine-dining experience preferred
Responsibilities

Lead daily service with confidence, energy, and attention to detail

Maintain floor presence and actively support FOH team during service

Ensure consistent execution of service standards and hospitality

Manage scheduling, staff performance, and internal communication

Handle guest relations, feedback, and service recovery with grace

Support opening procedures, training, and ongoing team development
