Sous Chef Role:
We’re looking for a Sous Chef who thrives on organization, leadership, and hands-on service. This role is central to how our kitchen operates day to day — from planning and prep to leading the line during peak service. You’ll work closely with the Chef de Cuisine to keep standards high, the team supported, and service running smoothly.
What You’ll Be Responsible For Kitchen Operations

Oversee ordering, inventory control, and daily prep planning

Anticipate production needs and coordinate prep with the cooking team

Work alongside front-of-house leadership to align on inventory, service flow, and daily changes
Service Leadership

Take command of the griddle and fryer stations during service

Ensure stations are properly stocked, set up, broken down, and executed to standard

Run expo from the line, manage ticket flow, and communicate clearly to keep service moving efficiently

Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe kitchen at all times
Team Leadership

Support the Chef de Cuisine in daily decision-making and kitchen management

Assign tasks thoughtfully and develop cooks through coaching and example

Set the tone for professionalism, accountability, and calm under pressure
What We’re Looking For Culinary & Technical Skills

Demonstrated experience working both prep and line positions in high-volume kitchens

Strong organizational ability, including planning and executing staff meals for roughly 30 people

Detail-oriented approach to recipes, systems, and standard operating procedures
Communication & Management

Confident communicator who can lead service, delegate clearly, and manage tickets effectively

Comfortable using tools like Slack, Google Workspace, and kitchen systems

Team-focused leader who motivates others and contributes positively to kitchen culture
