Seeking a full-time bartender with 5+ years’ experience in our casual full-service restaurant/bar. This position includes serving all beverages, from canned beer to craft cocktails. Customers range from GenZ newcomers to long-time regulars, so please have respect and interest in getting to know all generations. Our bar is the heart of our restaurant – a comfortable space with a wide variety of televised sporting events, live music on the weekends, and just hanging out. We pride ourselves on great food, drinks, and the kind of hospitality that keeps people coming back.
What You'll Do:
- Craft quality cocktails, pour beer and wine, and generally provide excellent beverage service.
- Build relationships with our regular customers while welcoming new faces.
- Manage the bar (including bar tables) during slow and busy shifts, and hosted parties.
- Maintain a clean, well-stocked bar and ensure compliance with all ABC regulations.
- Work closely with servers to ensure smooth service for dining room guests.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of bartending experience in a full-service restaurant or bar
- Strong knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and classic cocktails
- Excellent multitasking abilities and grace under pressure
- Friendly, professional demeanor with strong customer service skills
- Valid Virginia ABC certification (or ability to obtain)
- Availability for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
