BAR MANAGER - NEW OPENING - JKS RESTAURANTS

Schedule - Full Time

Experience - Previous experience as a Bar Manager in a high quality restaurant or cocktail bar. (Michelin Starred experience a bonus). 

Ambassadors Clubhouse NYC is seeking a Bar Manager to lead on a new restaurant opening. The successful candidate will be personable, passionate, and possess exceptional experience in the fine dining space.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Candidate looking to join an award-winning, critically acclaimed group with huge plans for growth in the US and the rest of the globe.

The Group

JKS Restaurants is a London based group. Founded by siblings Jyotin, Karam and Sunaina Sethi in November 2008. The group has received critical acclaim and industry recognition since its inception, including 7 Michelin stars, 5 Michelin Bib Gourmands and one restaurant ranked in the World’s 100 Best restaurants.

In London the JKS portfolio currently includes Michelin Starred restaurants Trishna, Gymkhana, Kitchen Table, Sabor and Lyle’s; as well as cult favourites Hoppers, BAO, Brigadiers, Berenjak, Plaza Khao Gaeng, Speedboat Bar and Bibi. Pubs include The Cadogan Arms, The George and The Hound.

Across the Middle East Berenjak, Gymkhana and Hoppers can be found in Dubai, Sharjah, Doha and Riyadh.

The Role

The Successful Bar Manager will have:

  • Previous experience managing a high-volume, quality bar or restaurant
  • Proven experience as a Bar Manager or in a similar role at a high-volume, upscale establishment
  • Passion for Excellence: Your unwavering commitment to excellence in food, beverages, and hospitality is evident in everything you do. You possess a creative approach, an impeccable attention to detail, and an innate desire to deliver exceptional experiences that leave guests in awe
  • Leadership and Flexibility: as Bar Manager, you will be an influential leader, guiding and motivating a team of professionals. Your exceptional interpersonal skills, outgoing personality, and adaptability to a dynamic and fast-paced environment will foster collaboration and create a positive work atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a bar team, ensuring consistent and exceptional service to guests
  • Manage and maintain appropriate stock levels, ensure timely ordering, and oversee efficient inventory management monthly
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, hygiene standards, and maintain a safe environment for staff
  • Stay informed about industry trends and developments

Compensation Details

Compensation: Salary ($85,000.00 - $95,000.00)
