Position: Kitchen Lead
Job Description:
Olmo is seeking a talented and passionate cook to join our culinary team. The ideal
candidate has prior experience leading kitchen teams and adhering to DOH standards and
ordering systems. We’re looking for someone with cooking skills as sharp as their knives
and a strong desire to create delicious cantina neoyorkina food.

The responsibilities:
• Supervise, prepare and cook dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
• Lead preparation and service teams, ensuring all employees perform to restaurant
standards
• Step into any BOH position when necessary
• Maintain a clean and organized service and preparation kitchen (DOH compliant)
• Control waste and oversee purchasing budget without compromising on quality and
availability of dishes
• Collaborate with kitchen and service teams for a seamless guest experience
The requirements:
• Previous experience working as a cook in a restaurant and coordinating teams
• Strong culinary techniques and equipment handling
• Ability to work creatively under pressure and communicate clearly
• Warm, hospitality-driven presence for guest interactions
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
