JOB SUMMARY
Lion’s Share is looking for a skilled and charismatic Bartender to join our opening team. We seek someone
who not only excels in their craft but also embodies the art of hospitality. Our ideal candidate is passionate
about bartending, creating innovative and well-balanced cocktails while delivering a seamless and engaging
bar experience. In this role, you’ll craft exceptional drinks, guide guests through thoughtful beverage pairings,
and contribute to a bar program that reflects the spirit and vision of Lion’s Share.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Prepare and serve a diverse range of cocktails, wine, and spirits with precision and artistry.
• Build relationships with guests, enhancing their experience through genuine, personalized service.
• Maintain and stock the bar with all necessary inventory, tools, and glassware.
• Follow and maintain local health and safety standards for food and beverage handling.
• Collaborate with the team to evolve the bar program and ensure consistency.
• Assist with setup, breakdown, and overall cleanliness of the bar area.
• Uphold standards of excellence, embodying Lion’s Share’s vision for hospitality.
• Participate in all steps and standards of service including but not limited to taking orders, running
food, checking in on guests, and supporting additional front-of-house staff.
• Support additional front of house needs a needed.

HEALTH & SAFETY
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards, including food safety, sanitation, and
workplace hygiene, in line with local Department of Health guidelines.
• Must have or obtain ServSafe certification and comply with alcohol-serving regulations.
• Maintain proper handling and storage of all alcoholic beverages.
EXPERIENCE
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a bartender in high-end or fine dining establishments.
• Advanced understanding of cocktails, wine, and spirits.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in elevated dining or Michelin-starred environments is highly preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of sustainable and local beverage sourcing is a plus
WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Involves standing and walking the entire shift.
• Requires using hands to prepare drinks and handle bar tools.
• Involves frequent reaching, bending, and lifting.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly during the shift.
