RVR is a Japanese Izakaya-inspired tavern in Venice, LA, celebrating fresh, seasonal ingredients, inventive cocktails, curated wines, sake, and an eclectic music program. We combine Japanese Izakaya traditions with California farmer’s market produce.

Responsibilities:

● The food runner is responsible for ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests by providing knowledgeable, efficient, and professional service.

● Assisting with setting up and breaking down dining room tables and maintaining a clean and organized dining room.

Requirements:

● 1 year of experience as a food runner or busser in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

● Strong organizational and time-management skills.

● Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

● Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

● Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.

● Must have a current California Food Handler Card and Alcoholic Beverage Control

(ABC) license.
