The Sous Chef is a key leadership role within the Adalina Prime culinary team. This position supports the Executive Chef and Chef de Cuisine in overseeing daily kitchen operations, maintaining the highest standards of food quality and consistency, and leading the team with professionalism and integrity. The ideal candidate is a strong, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume, fine-dining environment.
Culinary Leadership

Execute and uphold Adalina Prime’s culinary standards across all services.

Ensure consistency in plating, flavor, and presentation.

Assist with menu development, seasonal features, and R&D initiatives.
Operations & Execution

Oversee daily kitchen service, ensuring smooth communication between BOH and FOH.

Manage prep schedules, station coverage, and service flow.

Enforce all health, safety, and sanitation standards (ServSafe compliant).
Team Development

Train, mentor, and develop cooks at all levels.

Lead by example with professionalism, urgency, and respect.

Conduct line checks, tastings, and performance feedback.
Administrative & Cost Control

Assist with ordering, inventory, and waste control.

Help manage food cost, labor efficiency, and proper product utilization.

Maintain accurate prep lists, pars, and production systems.
Culture & Standards

Foster a positive, disciplined, and accountable kitchen culture.

Uphold Adalina Prime’s values of hospitality, craftsmanship, and teamwork.

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional kitchen environment at all times.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a Sous Chef or senior line leadership role.

Background in high-volume, fine-dining, steakhouse, or upscale hospitality preferred.

Strong understanding of classic and modern cooking techniques.

Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams.

Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining composure and standards.
