Assistant General Manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant General Manager to help lead our team, oversee daily operations, and elevate the guest experience. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on the floor, values thoughtful hospitality and operational excellence, and is eager to grow within a creative and expanding restaurant group.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily FOH and BOH operations.

• Lead, train, and motivate staff to deliver excellent guest service.

• Oversee scheduling, inventory, and financial performance (P&L, labor, and cost controls).

• Partner with ownership and chef to execute the restaurant’s vision.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as an AGM or Manager in a full-service restaurant (sushi/Japanese preferred).

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Experience with budgeting, labor management, and driving profitability.

• Knowledge of sake, wine, and beverage programs a plus.
