Position Summary
The Baker Assistant supports the bakery team in daily production, preparation, and organization. This role is ideal for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn within a fast-paced, from-scratch bakery environment.
Key Responsibilities

Assist bakers with daily production of breads, pastries, and baked goods

Scale, mix, portion, and prepare doughs and batters according to recipes

Support baking, finishing, and packaging of products

Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and storage areas

Follow food safety, sanitation, and health department standards at all times

Help with receiving, labeling, and storing ingredients properly

Communicate effectively with the bakery and kitchen teams to support daily needs

Assist with prep for future bakes and special projects as needed
Qualifications

Previous kitchen or bakery experience preferred, but not required

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately

Comfortable working early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
