Job Details
Major Food Group is hiring experienced Pasta Prep Cooks to join our team at Vino - our latest Miami project now open in Coconut Grove!
 
Vino is a new concept from Major Food Group celebrating timeless artisanship and the most coveted wines of Italy complete with a thousand bottle wine cellar. The menu features an extensive selection of handmade pastas, Sicilian pizzas, signature entrées like spicy rigatoni and friend veal chop prepared “your way”, and fresh gelato served table-side.
 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
  • Prepare batches of fresh pasta according to recipe standards
  • Learn about the cooking methods and techniques employed in the kitchen
  • Stock inventory appropriately
  • Ensure kitchen equipment and appliances are ready for use

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Fresh pasta experience helpful, not required - training provided!
  • Team-orientated and positive attitude
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds 
  • Must be able to work standing and walking for extended periods of time
  • Strong communication skills a must

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($18.00 - $22.00)
