Max & Helen’s is hiring a Floor Manager!
From Phil Rosenthal of Somebody Feed Phil and James Beard Award–winning Chef Nancy Silverton of the Mozza Restaurant Group comes Larchmont Village’s first classic neighborhood diner — Max & Helen’s. A modern take on the old-school American diner, we serve the comforting favorites you know and love, from matzoh ball soup and patty melts to breakfast plates, house-baked treats, and malted milkshakes.
We’re building a passionate, thoughtful, and energetic team and are currently seeking a Floor Manager to help lead front-of-house service as we continue to grow.

Responsibilities include:

Leading daily floor operations to ensure smooth, consistent, and welcoming service

Supporting servers, hosts, and support staff throughout service

Upholding service standards, pacing, and guest experience

Handling guest needs and concerns with care, professionalism, and discretion

Assisting with training, onboarding, and ongoing development of FOH staff

Working closely with kitchen leadership to ensure seamless service flow
Details:

Full-time position

Store hours: 8am–8pm daily (weekend availability required)

Prior restaurant management or floor leadership experience (2+ years) strongly preferred

This is a hands-on role — managers are expected to be present on the floor during service
