Job Details

Major Tom is a vibrant restaurant offering a seasonal menu focused on thoughtful food, precise execution, and genuine hospitality. Our kitchen is very small and guest-facing, which means professionalism, cleanliness, and composure matter at all times. We value discipline, curiosity, and teamwork over ego.

The Role

We’re looking for a career-driven cook to join our kitchen team. This position is best suited for someone who takes pride in fundamentals, works cleanly and efficiently, and understands that cooking here means being fully visible to our guests—both in execution and demeanor.

Responsibilities

  • Execute dishes accurately and consistently during service

  • Work confidently in a small, open, guest-facing kitchen

  • Maintain exceptional organization, cleanliness, and station readiness

  • Assist with prep, service, and breakdown

  • Uphold food safety, sanitation, and professional standards

  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with chefs, FOH, and teammates

  • Contribute to a focused, calm, and accountable kitchen culture

What We’re Looking For

  • Career-driven cooks who want to grow professionally in this industry

  • Previous restaurant kitchen experience preferred

  • Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency

  • Comfort working cleanly and composed in front of guests

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($18.00 - $24.00) plus tips
