Jajaja Mexicana is a modern, plant-based Mexican restaurant rooted in bold flavors, hospitality, and vibrant culture. Our food is inspired by traditional Mexican cooking techniques and regional flavors, interpreted through a contemporary, and health-forward lens. Responsibilities:

• Set up and stock stations with all necessary ingredients and supplies
• Prepare food for service, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and executing prep lists
• Cook menu items consistently and efficiently in coordination with the kitchen team
• Follow direction from the Sous Chef, Kitchen Manager, and Executive Chef
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of your station at all times
• Properly store, label, and rotate food to ensure freshness and quality
• Execute tickets accurately so food is delivered on time and at the highest standard
• Assist with closing duties and proper breakdown of stations

Requirements:

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a full-service, moderate- to high-volume restaurant preferred
• Strong work ethic with a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Ability to work clean, organized, and focused under pressure
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn
• Passion for food, consistency, and hospitality
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
