Lead Host

Bottega Napa Valley is seeking an experienced and poised Lead Host to join our esteemed hospitality team. This role is central to delivering the exceptional guest experience we aim to provide. 

Key Responsibilities

• Guest Relations: Warmly welcome guests, manage seating, and ensure a gracious and seamless dining experience.
• Reservation Management: Oversee and optimize table bookings using OpenTable or similar platforms to maximize efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure smooth service flow and uphold service standards.
• Service Excellence: Maintain a composed, professional demeanor under pressure while fostering a welcoming and refined atmosphere.
• Operational Proficiency: Utilize POS systems effectively and adapt quickly to new technologies and procedures.
• Continuous Improvement: Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning and staying current with industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a high-volume, upscale dining environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiarity with reservation and point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to multitask and lead with grace and professionalism.
