Job Summary
Adalina Prime is seeking an accomplished Executive Chef to lead the culinary vision of our new flagship location in Chicago. This role is responsible for elevating a modern steakhouse concept through exceptional food quality, refined execution, and innovative menu development. The Executive Chef will oversee all kitchen operations, build and mentor a high-performing culinary team, and uphold the standards of a premier, high-volume, fine-dining restaurant.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and inspire all back-of-house culinary operations for Adalina Prime

Develop and execute a modern Italian steakhouse menu featuring prime steaks, vegetables, seafood, and seasonal specialties

Maintain the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation

Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a talented culinary team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability

Oversee daily kitchen operations, service execution, and workflow efficiency

Manage food and labor costs while maintaining premium quality standards

Establish and enforce sanitation, food safety, and HACCP compliance in accordance with Chicago and Illinois regulations

Collaborate closely with ownership and front-of-house leadership to deliver a seamless guest experience

Manage vendor relationships, sourcing high-quality proteins and ingredients

Drive menu innovation while honoring Italian culinary traditions
Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 5–7 years of experience as an Executive Chef or Chef de Cuisine in a fine-dining or upscale steakhouse environment

Strong background in steakhouse operations, or high-end hospitality concepts

Proven leadership experience managing large kitchen teams in high-volume settings

Exceptional knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen systems

Demonstrated ability to control costs, manage budgets, and improve profitability

Passion for mentoring and developing culinary talent
