JF Restaurants is looking for an experienced AM Server for La Marchande at the Wall Street Hotel. Servers are responsible for ensuring that all guests who dine with us have memorable experiences filled with hospitality, delicious food and drinks, and exceptional service. The Server is the backbone of our Service team and is ultimately responsible for the sale and service of our food and beverages, while acting as a leader on the floor and providing our guests with warm and attentive hospitality. Servers must posses a natural drive to do well and work together with their team.
What you’ll do:
- Demonstrate expertise of all food and beverage menu items with sound knowledge of all ingredients and preparations
- Consistently follows steps of service with efficiency and grace, while maintaining a sense of urgency throughout service
- Anticipates guest needs, ensuring constant communication with colleagues, management, and the kitchen at all times during service
- Maintains the high standards of cleanliness and appearance throughout all areas of the restaurant both before, during and after service
- Must work well in a team dynamic
- Demonstrates an eagerness to continue to learn and grow
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience as a Server or similar role in a high-volume venue.
- Open Availability/AM Availability
- Sound judgment and knowledge of restaurant operations, as well as strong menu knowledge.
- Ability to perform essential job functions when working in a high business volume, fast paced environment.
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays, variable schedules per the needs of the business.
- Polished personal presentation: grooming meets Company standards, as outlined by Employee Handbook.
- State applicable health and/or alcohol compliance card
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- English fluency and additional languages preferred, but not required.
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time, balance & carry multiple plates, glass racks and or/glasses, and lift objects up to 25 lbs.
