The Restaurant Polisher plays a critical role in maintaining the impeccable presentation standards of our dining steakhouse. This position is responsible for polishing, cleaning, and organizing all glassware, flatware, and service items to ensure they meet the highest level of cleanliness and shine, supporting an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities- Polish and inspect all glassware, silverware, and utensils to ensure they are spotless, streak-free, and presentation-ready
- Remove water spots, fingerprints, and residue from all service items
- Sort and organize polished items for easy access by service staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the polishing and dish areas
- Assist with restocking service stations with polished items during service
- Handle delicate and high-end glassware and flatware with care to prevent damage
- Communicate with dishwashing and service teams to ensure smooth operations and adequate inventory levels
- Follow all sanitation, hygiene, and safety standards in accordance with health regulations
- Support the front-of-house team with additional duties as needed
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred, especially in fine dining
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs for extended periods
- Manual dexterity to handle delicate items

- Exposure to hot water, cleaning agents, and kitchen/service noise
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($17.00 - $18.00)
