Sommelier

Yingtao is a 1-Michelin star contemporary Chinese fine dining restaurant located in the heart of Hell’s Kitchen. As we continue growing and preparing for a new culinary chapter, we are seeking a Sommelier to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is excited to build, lead, and mentor.

• Guide wine and beverage service throughout the dining room and chef’s counter

• Build thoughtful guest relationships and elevate hospitality with warm, intuitive storytelling

• Lead staff education, pre-shift tastings, and training on pairings, by-the-glass offerings, and beverage strategy

• Support in cellar organization, inventory, cost management, and purchasing

• Execute wine pairings for tasting menus and assist in development of future beverage experiences (wine, tea, baijiu, non-alcoholic, cocktails)

• Collaborate cross-departmentally with FOH leadership, Chef, and Beverage Manager to enhance overall guest experience
