Chef Walter Manzke is offering the opportunity to join his PM Restaurant team at Republique. We are looking for talented Sous Chefs with a minimum of two years management experience to join the team and further their career.
We maintain a fine dining standard in our PM Restaurant. Applicants should possess a keen attention to detail, a passion for food along with a strong work ethic, a natural sense for hospitality and adaptability.
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Oversee the culinary production and service teams, ensuring smooth operations and top-tier performance. As a Sous Chef, lead by example, fostering collaboration and excellence.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with our Chef de Cuisine to meet operational demands and execute requests with precision and flexibility.
- Adaptability: Manage diverse tasks, from preparing intricate dishes for service to coordinating last-minute event needs. Maintain the high standards of the owners in every action.
- Leadership and Mentorship: Cultivate a structured yet creative environment, upholding the restaurant’s established systems while encouraging innovation and skill development among the team. Embrace the Republique way of doing everything.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and execution in every dish, aligning with Republique's standards.
- Operational Oversight: Manage administrative responsibilities, including inventory control, order placement, and staff performance documentation, ensuring seamless kitchen operations.
- Innovation: Bring a new viewpoint to our restaurant, and work with the Chef de Cuisine and Owners to improve the systems and everyday function of the restaurant.

Compensation Details
Compensation: Salary ($85,000.00 - $90,000.00)
