POSITION OVERVIEW
Seeking an experienced and hospitality-forward General Manager to lead daily operations, set the tone for service excellence, and cultivate a vibrant, welcoming environment for both local guests and visitors. This role requires a visible, hands-on leader who inspires teams, builds strong relationships, and delivers consistently elevated guest experiences while maintaining the financial health of the restaurant.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead all front- and back-of-house operations, ensuring seamless service execution and adherence to standards
- Champion a culture of warm, intuitive hospitality and thoughtful guest engagement
- Continuously refine service standards through observation, collaboration, and feedback from guests and teams
- Partner closely with culinary and beverage leadership to align operations with a chef-driven vision
- Mentor, develop, and inspire managers, supervisors, and team members through hands-on leadership
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, coverage, budgeting, and profitability
- Identify creative opportunities to drive revenue while maintaining quality and guest experience
- Maintain systems and processes that enhance communication, consistency, and operational efficiency
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- 5+ years of senior restaurant management experience in upscale or fine dining environments
- Proven ability to lead large teams and complex operations
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing labor, budgets, and P&L performance
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Proficiency with POS systems, reservation platforms, scheduling tools, and basic reporting software
- Ability to prioritize effectively and delegate with clarity
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout service periods, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
