We are looking for a hands-on General Manager, who is passionate about delivering memorable dining experiences and fostering a creative, collaborative environment grounded in respect and empathy.

The General Manager will drive success by overseeing, in co-ordination with the ownership team, the entire Front of Staff and the forward-facing parts of the business. The General Manager will be the primary point of contact for every Front of House staff member as well as the day-to-day example of our culture to our entire staff.

The GM should be a focused and strong leader who strives to continuously improve the restaurant by implementing systems, upholding company culture by fostering a warm and positive work environment, and setting a strong example of mentorship and development through positive reinforcement. They should also be committed to learning and improving through continuous education and self-development along with a commitment to coaching and developing the Front of House staff and earning the trust and respect of all members of the restaurant.

Essential Duties Include (but not limited to):

Opening and closing the restaurant
Conducting pre-shift meetings
Leading and actively engaging in all steps of service
Scheduling FOH employees
Running bi-weekly payroll
Assisting with liquor and dry goods ordering
Administering our Resy and Toast systems
Maintaining cleanliness in accordance with the City and restaurant standards
Maintaining a strong knowledge of our wine, beer, and cocktails. Assist on the floor answering beverage related questions
Ensuring the financial sustainability of the restaurant, and driving profitability by actively pursuing revenue generating initiatives and cost cutting mechanisms
Maintaining a functioning, clean and safe work environment for employees and guests
Cultivating and preserving a positive culture, putting employees first
Establishing, maintaining, and changing (when necessary) policies and systems as they pertain to service, accounting, human resources, training, and employee development
