Line cooks at Kouklas will work directly under award-winning chefs and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen that values precision and pride.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and execute menu items with accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail
- Work multiple stations as needed, including live-fire grill, sauté, cold line, and prep
- Cook over our custom 5-foot live-fire charcoal and wood grill, producing bold, Mediterranean-inspired flavors
- Follow all recipes, portioning, and plating standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked station throughout service
- Communicate clearly with chefs, expeditors, and teammates during service
- Uphold all food safety, sanitation, and health department standards
- Assist with prep, receiving, and proper storage of products
- Support opening and closing duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
- Previous line cook experience preferred (but strong work ethic and trainability matter most)
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-standards, high-volume kitchen
- Interest in live-fire cooking and traditional techniques
- Strong sense of urgency, organization, and consistency
- Team-first mindset with a professional, positive attitude
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
