Job Details
Tsubaki, a modern izakaya in Echo Park, seeks a line cook to join our team in a full- or part-time position.
 
Tsubaki offers a modern, LA interpretation of classic izakaya cuisine, and has been honored with a Bib Gourmand from the Michelin Guide as well as inclusion on the LA Times '101 Best Restaurants' list. As part of a small team, our cooks have the opportunity work closely with our chef, and be involved in every aspect of the menu from development to prep through execution. Tsubaki's menu is based in classic Japanese izakaya dishes interpreted through a lens of Los Angeles, with a focus on local farmers market produce and fish from Japan.

The ideal candidate will have experience working as a cook in a full-service kitchen, and an interest in Japanese cuisine and culture. We offer lots of room to grow, as we prefer to promote from within, and full medical benefits are covered after 60 days for all full-time employees. Other perks include good family meal, a consistent schedule with consecutive days off, and an overall positive work environment.

Compensation Details
