We are seeking an experienced, guest-focused Bartender to join our team at a classic, high-volume dining establishment. The ideal candidate is skilled in mixology, knowledgeable about food and beverage service, and committed to delivering an exceptional guest experience from behind both the front-of-house bar and service bar. This role requires professionalism, efficiency, and the ability to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming bar environment at all times.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities-
Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company recipes, portion standards, and alcohol-service policies.

Serve wine, beer (draft and bottled), cocktails, and food to bar guests; guide guests through menu selections and answer all food-related questions.

Effectively merchandise drinks and hand-sell featured items to enhance the guest experience.

Prepare visually appealing cocktails with proper garnishes and presentation.

Maintain proficient knowledge of liquors, spirits, beer, wine, and evolving beverage trends; stay updated on new and revised recipes.

Welcome guests warmly, take accurate drink and food orders, make recommendations, and consistently deliver a high level of hospitality.

Observe guests to anticipate needs and respond promptly, ensuring satisfaction before, during, and after service.

Follow R.A.S.P. procedures and all company policies for preventing and managing intoxication.

Card all guests who appear under 30 to ensure legal alcohol service compliance.
- Accurately handle cash, credit, and debit transactions; maintain and balance cash drawers per company accounting standards.

Maintain a consistently clean, sanitized, and organized bar area in accordance with company and local health department regulations.

Take inventory, restock supplies, and assist with ordering to ensure the bar is fully prepared for service.

Follow all opening, closing, sanitation, and safety procedures.

Assist servers with bar knowledge and collaborate to ensure smooth service throughout the restaurant.

Attend pre-shift meetings and communicate any issues, concerns, or unusual situations to management promptly.
- Support team members by helping greet and seat guests, answer phones, pre-bus and bus tables, restock supplies, and assist during busy shifts.

Maintain a cooperative and harmonious working environment that promotes high morale and productivity.

Perform other duties as requested to support overall restaurant operations.

5 years experience in fine dining bartending.

Ability to pass Bartender Certification.

Must have (or be able to obtain):

Local/County Food Handler Card

Local/County Liquor Certification (e.g., BASSET)

ServSafe Food Handler & Allergen Certifications

Proficient with POS systems (Toast experience preferred); able to accurately process transactions and make change.

Strong verbal communication, listening skills, and guest-service instincts.

Well-organized, detail-oriented, efficient, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to remain calm and professional when handling guest concerns.

Ability to stand and walk for 6–8 hours per shift.

Able to lift up to 50 lbs and carry items up stairs as needed.

Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, shaking, stirring, wiping, and immersion of hands in water.

Able to hear guest orders amid background noise and clearly verbalize responses.

Work around hot beverages, sharp objects, and potential hazards such as spills, burns, and broken glass.

Guest drink and food orders are prepared accurately, promptly, and according to recipe.

Bar area remains organized, clean, stocked, and compliant with health and safety standards.

Cash drawer balances and all transactions follow company procedures.

Guests consistently receive exceptional service that reflects the company’s values and brand image.
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($14.00) plus tips
