Summary/Objective
The Director of Facilities is responsible for overseeing the overall building maintenance
and general upkeep of restaurants, commissary, and other Schulson Collective
facilities.
Essential Functions
Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to

- Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance
- required, maintain tracking system of projects that need to be completed.
- Develop preventative maintenance program and tracking system of preventative
- Prepare weekly maintenance staff schedules and allocate work to ensure repairs
- completed in timely manner.
- Recruit, supervise, and train facilities staff.
- Contract vendors (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) to complete tasks as required
- and supervise completion of tasks.
- Hire and supervise subcontractors and vendors to complete tasks as needed
- Maintaining a proper inventory of equipment, supplies, and other necessary
- items required to perform duties assigned.
- Analyzes cost control evaluations, inventory management, and work order trends
- to make appropriate facilities recommendations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position supervises all facilities staff.
Physical Demands
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds and occasionally push and/or pull up to 125 pounds. The employee may spend over 4 hours daily standing or walking.
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Minimum two (2) years experience supervising facility maintenance.
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing and carpentry is a plus.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have excellent time management and project management skills.
- Must be a team player with a strong work ethic.
