Multiple James Beard Award–winning restaurateurs Stephen Starr and Keith McNally partnered for the revival of Pastis NYC, the legendary French restaurant that crafted the Meatpacking District into the dining destination it is today. Serving traditional French fare with a newly invigorated soul, the restaurant’s classic curved zinc bar, outfitted with signature subway tiles, vintage mirrors, mosaic-tiled floor, and gold-tinged lighting, evokes nostalgia. Offering breakfast, weekend brunch, lunch, and dinner, guests can enjoy gathering at any time of day — or visit us at Pastis Miami, Washington, D.C., Nashville, and soon, West Palm Beach.
We are currently in search of an Executive Pastry Chef who is passionate about all things desserts with a love for and experience with classic French pastry techniques.
This position offers a comprehensive package including:
- A Base Salary Range of $80,000- $90,000

Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive pastry department/kitchen management experience in well-rated, industry leading kitchens
- Influential, team-oriented leadership style with passion for training and development of others
- Attention to details of food quality, preparation and presentation
- Flexible and adaptive to rapidly changing priorities and work demands
- A solid understanding of all aspects of a top Pastry Department operation (ordering, scheduling, production, plating, etc.)
- Strong written and computer skills; including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Guests can find the classic bistro fare Pastis was known for, with a menu that offers breakfast, lunch, dinner, and brunch.
