Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and providing excellent guest services. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage guest relations effectively while maintaining a smooth flow of operations.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly as they arrive and guide them to their tables.
• Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart.
• Answer phone calls with professionalism, handling inquiries and reservations.
• Provide information about the menu, specials, and restaurant policies.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
• Assist in managing the waitlist during busy periods, ensuring guests are informed of wait times.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
• Handle guest complaints or concerns promptly and courteously.

Requirements

• Previous experience in guest services or food service is preferred.
• Familiarity with OpenTable and Toast POS or other point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help others.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
