Place des Fêtes, is a neighborhood wine bar from Redwood Hospitality, the team behind Cafe Mado, Laurel Bakery, Golden Ratio, and the Michelin-Star restaurant Oxalis (temporarily closed).
We are hiring Line Cooks to join our team. This is a great role for someone with basic kitchen experience who wants to build stronger fundamentals in a disciplined, growth-oriented environment. We value consistency, curiosity, and cooks who show up prepared and ready to learn.
Responsibilities:

Execute dishes consistently and according to restaurant standards

Complete daily mise en place with accuracy and efficiency

Follow recipes, prep lists, and direction from senior cooks and chefs

Maintain a clean, organized station throughout service

Assist with receiving, storing, labeling, and rotating product

Communicate clearly to support smooth service

Follow all food safety and DOH sanitation guidelines
Qualifications:

1+ year of kitchen experience preferred (but not required if you have strong fundamentals and a willingness to learn)

Basic knife skills and understanding of core cooking techniques

Ability to stay organized and calm during busy service

Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Strong work ethic and team-first attitude
