Exciting new opening of a high end, classic yet modern Italian restaurant in Beverly Hills in December. We are in search of a SOUS CHEF that has experience working with upscale, classic Italian food in a fine dining setting. Being Italian or having worked in Italy is a plus but not a must.
This will be this company’s first US restaurant so a chef that has done openings is key as this is a very important opening that will pave the way for future locations. The menu will be very seasonal and product driven.
The sous chef will assist the executive chef in overseeing the production and service. This is a very hands on position so you must love cooking and working the line with your crew. You must be detail oriented and uphold the company standards of high quality, consistent food. This will be a very anticipated opening and every plate must be perfect. The sous chef will be expected to know ordering, inventory and other administrative duties.
The restaurant will seat about 250 people, so we need a sous chef that has experience with higher volume restaurants yet still maintain the quality and consistency demanded by the company.
Offering a starting base salary of up to $85k for the right sous chef
