Job Details

Laroot World is hiring an Executive Sous Chef to join our founding team. We’re building a mission-driven hospitality company focused on nutrient-rich cuisine, healing foods, and culturally rooted flavor — and we need a leader who wants to grow with us.

Responsibilities
  • Lead BOH operations with confidence and positivity

  • Support menu development grounded in nutrition + cultural flavor

  • Help build systems, SOPs, and training tools for scale

  • Oversee ordering, costing, inventory, scheduling, and recipe management

  • Mentor and develop the kitchen team

  • Bring opening experience to help us launch successfully

Qualifications
  • 3 years in a leadership role

  • Opening experience preferred

  • Strong admin + operational skills

  • Passion for healing, wellness, flavor, and culture

  • Strong communication + leadership abilities

  • Excited to build with a company in early growth stages
