Jr. Sous Chef or Lead Line Cook – Fine Dining Restaurant
$75,000 - $80,000 + Bonus
This well-known and highly regarded fine dining restaurant in San Francisco is looking for a passionate and experienced Jr. Sous Chef or Lead Line Cook to join their team, offering great compensation, benefits, and career growth opportunity.
DESCRIPTION:
The Jr. Sous Chef or Lead Line Cook plays a key leadership role in the kitchen, collaborating with ownership and management to ensure culinary excellence, financial efficiency, and continuous innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the kitchen team, fostering a disciplined and collaborative environment while helping with staff training and development
- Expediting
- Maintain high culinary standards by ensuring exceptional food quality, presentation, as per SOP's, and compliance with health and safety regulations
- Troubleshoot operational challenges to maintain consistency and efficiency.

Desired Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 1+ years of experience as a Jr. Sous Chef or Lead Line Cook for a 4M+ restaurant
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work in a high-energy kitchen
- Passion for high-quality food
- Ability to work collaboratively with management to drive both financial success and creative growth
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Spanish speaking skills highly desired
