Position: Dishwasher
We are honored to share our story with every guest, and the Dishwasher plays an essential role in making that possible. Working closely with our Sous Chef and kitchen team, this position ensures the cleanliness, organization, and efficiency that support the heart of our culinary operations. The ideal candidate brings attention to detail, reliability, and pride in maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and consistency. By keeping our kitchen running smoothly, the Dishwasher contributes directly to the quality and integrity of every dish we serve.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
- Operate and maintain commercial dishwashing machines
- Keep the dish area clean, organized, and stocked
- Remove trash, recycling, and break down boxes
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors and clean spills as needed
- Clean and sanitize counters, sinks, shelves, and kitchen surfaces and dining room tables
- Assist with restocking when needed
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and chemical-handling procedures
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of professional restaurant or kitchen experience
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and organization
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, high-energy kitchen environment
- Reliability in following directions and maintaining consistent standards
Schedule:
- Five-day, morning shift: 7:00am - 3:00pm
Attire:
- Black non-slip kitchen shoes and black pants (no jeans)
- Hair must be pulled back and covered at all times
- Natural nails that are kept short, clean, and free from polish
- No hanging jewelry; stud earrings and wedding bands are permitted
- Makeup kept to a minimum
