Pastry Cook

Beefbar, a premier upscale restaurant, is seeking an experienced and passionate Evening Pastry Cook to join our team shift. This full-time position plays a vital role in preparing delectable pastry items and maintaining our high standards of quality and service during the evening hours.

Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

• Prepare pastry menu items from start to finish for evening service, including preparation of ingredients, cooking, and plating
• Assist with basic prep duties as directed by the Pastry Chef for evening service
• Maintain knowledge of products, ingredients, allergens, and sourcing
• Ensure proper storage and sanitation standards in all kitchen areas during evening shifts
• Collaborate with the Pastry Chef and other front and back of house evening teams
• Complete evening shift opening and closing side work checklists daily
• Comply with the Department of Health and workplace safety regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned by management during evening shifts

Requirements:

• 1+ years of experience in an upscale, high-volume restaurant environment, preferably evening shifts
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift, move, and carry heavy boxes (at least 50 lbs)
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Knowledge of BeefBar brand, culture, and products
• Polished personal presentation and grooming per company standards
