Assistant Shop Manager

Birley Bakery is the newest opening by the club owner and entrepreneur Robin Birley; owner of prestigious private members’ clubs 5 Hertford Street and Oswald’s and the Birley Bakery in London. 

We are seeking a talented Assistant Shop Manager to join our world- class hospitality brigade. Reporting to the Shop Manager, the Assistant Shop Manager will assist with overseeing the bakery operations, providing a level of service that exceeds guest expectations, and ensuring all staff work together as an effective team to deliver exceptional hospitality.

• Proven success as a Manager/Assistant Manager within a hospitality, bakery or café environment
• Inspires strong leadership by fostering team spirit, boosting morale, and cultivating trust among colleagues.
• Thrives in high- end environments, consistently upholding superior service standards and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the dining/ shopping experience.
• Capable of operating autonomously with minimal oversight.
• Maintains a professional, upbeat demeanor and embraces a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
• Professional appearance and demeanor that aligns with a premium brand environment.
• Food Handler Certification.
