About Us

Our kitchen is a core part of our guest experience, and we’re looking for a creative, organized, and collaborative Head Chef to lead our culinary program as we continue to grow.

Position Overview

The Head Chef is responsible for overseeing all back-of-house operations, including menu development, food quality, kitchen staff leadership, inventory management, and food safety compliance. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-centric environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Development & Execution

    • Create and update seasonal menus

    • Develop specials, event menus, and dishes for collaborations

    • Ensure consistent, high-quality food presentation and portioning

  • Kitchen Leadership

    • Hire, train, and coach kitchen staff

    • Build a positive, respectful, and efficient kitchen culture

    • Schedule and manage kitchen labor within budget

  • Operations & Food Safety

    • Oversee daily BOH operations, including prep, service, cleaning, and closing procedures

    • Maintain compliance with health department regulations and the establishment's SOPs

    • Implement and enforce food safety, allergen, and sanitation standards

  • Inventory & Cost Management

    • Track COGS, portioning, and waste reduction

    • Conduct regular inventory counts and manage vendor relationships

    • Ensure accurate ordering and receiving of product

  • Collaboration

    • Work closely with the front-of-house leadership, and management team

    • Participate in special events, festivals, and community outreach

    • Support menu pairings, tastings, and culinary components of brand initiatives

Qualifications
  • 2–5+ years of culinary leadership experience (Head Chef or Sous Chef)

  • Strong understanding of seasonal and scratch cooking

  • Knowledge of food costing, ordering systems, and BOH management

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-volume environment

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Fast-paced kitchen with long periods of standing

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

  • Nights, weekends, and holiday availability required


Compensation Details

Compensation: Salary ($65,000.00 - $85,000.00)
